With over 200 international members, IMPI’s diverse membership spans across science, engineering, technology, and education. The Institute has played a pivotal role in advancing microwave and RF energy applications in laboratories, industrial processing, and the marketplace.
AMPERE (Association for Microwave Power in Europe for Research and Education):
AMPERE is a European non-profit association devoted to the promotion of microwave and RF heating techniques for research and industrial applications. AMPERE was established in 1993 at the international conference on Microwave and High Frequency Heating, Gothenberg, Sweden. AMPERE brings together global experts in the field and works closely with universities and industry to foster innovation and education.
This special joint session will feature global experts from IMPI and AMPERE delivering insightful lectures on the latest technological advancements and industrial applications from the USA and Europe, respectively.
Topics will include:

About Prof. Arun S. Mujumdar:
Prof. Arun Sadashiv Mujumdar is a leading personality in the world of drying technology, often referred to as the “Drying Guru.” He has made outstanding contributions to chemical engineering, particularly in drying technology and heat and mass transfer. With over 800 publications and numerous awards, including two of China’s highest honors for International Cooperation in Science and Technology, Prof. Mujumdar has been a driving force in the field for the past 50 years.
He holds numerous prestigious positions, including Life Fellow of ASME, Honorary Fellow of IICHE, and Editor-in-Chief of Drying Technology. Prof. Mujumdar’s work has been instrumental in advancing the field and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
